Salary: Package up to £58k per annum (dependent on licence class)

STG is on the lookout for a knowledgeable and forward-thinking Building Control Surveyors to play a key role in delivering expert guidance across a broad range of domestic, commercial and mixed-use developments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing building regulation applications and carrying out site inspections
- Contributing to safe, sustainable and compliant developments across Gravesham, Medway, Swale and Canterbury area
- Contributing to the mentorship of Assistant Building Control Surveyors/Trainees and supporting professional development when required
- Participating in out-of-hours emergency standby on a rota basis
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Building Surveying or HNC/HND in construction and experience as a qualified Building Surveyor
- Corporate membership or working towards corporate membership of CABE, CIOB, or RICS
- Willingness (or ability) to achieve LABC Level 6 Competency through assessment
- Understanding of the Building Act 1984 and the Building Regulations
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to maintaining high service standards
