What we do, and how we do it...
At STG we pride ourselves on providing a consistently high standard of service.
Our offices are based in the historic town of Rochester (Kent) with a team who are highly capable and experienced in working with compliance systems, processes and procedures.
We are currently experiencing high volumes of applications, search requests, email enquiries and telephone calls. Please bear with us whilst we work through these. If you are unable to get through to us on the phone, please leave us a voicemail as we aim to get back to you within an hour. If you have left a voicemail, please wait for us to call you back. Due to the current high volumes of workstreams, it may take us longer to respond to any general enquiries sent in via email. Applications can still be submitted via our online system, email address firstname.lastname@example.org or by post. Please call the office on 01634 331133 to book your site inspections - we may miss your request if sent in by email and we need to ask questions relating to the ongoing COVID-19 situation to keep yourselves and our surveyors safe.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Statement
As lockdown restrictions are slowing easing STG would like to reassure all customers and clients that the Partnership will continue to take all the necessary steps to ensure that our services will continue to operate and that we deliver our services effectively, while protecting the health and well-being of our employees and their families.
We will be continuing to monitor the situation on a daily basis to further ensure that we are operationally as close to ‘business as usual’ as can reasonably be expected. This will obviously be guided by the evolving advice from the government and other official sources.
Our online application and payment services continue to operate normally, and we will continue to be fully contactable by telephone and email.
The safety of our staff is paramount. In line with government guidelines, across our Partnership, we are encouraging colleagues to minimise unnecessary travel and to conduct meetings remotely where possible. In addition, we are reinforcing the absolute need to observe recommended hygiene and close contact practises including at client site locations and enforce self-isolation where necessary.
We are continuing to maintain a reduced presence in our main office in Rochester. The majority of our administration team and surveyors will continue to operate from home in order to improve our resilience.
We will continue to attend site to carry out inspections / meetings taking the necessary extra health precautions required, but where appropriate we are making use of other verification / communication / recording methods to ensure we can continue to provide our services. Please be aware that when requesting a site visit, we will be asking additional questions in respect of the health of the people we will be in contact with.
In this fluid and uncertain situation that we all find ourselves in, we look forward to continuing working with you and trust you all remain in good health.
